This is when ownership transfers from Kewmoor to you and you can move in.
Completion takes place once your new home is finished and a formal notice is served on your solicitor and completion takes place within a specified period within the contract.
By this time, you should have signed your mortgage and transfer deeds.
During this time Kewmoor will invite you to a demonstration of your new home and if there are any outstanding matters these can be attended to.
You will receive a Homebuyers Guide, which contains important information about your home. Instruction Manuals, Warranties, Emergency Contact Numbers and your NHBC ‘Guide to Your New Home’ (where applicable)
The Day of Completion, your solicitor will take care of everything legal with the help of Kewmoor. Through your solicitor, the balance of monies due (the agreed purchase price, less reservation fee and exchange deposit) will be transferred to Kewmoor.
Once Kewmoor have been advised that this balance of money has been received they can release the key to your new home and your title deeds will be held in a safe keeping by the mortgage lender if applicable.
